I am a Lead AI/ML Engineer with focused experience in Natural Language Processing, speech, and Generative AI. Over the years I have learned how to take ideas from prototype to production, and how to solve the unglamorous problems that come up when machine learning has to leave research and become a real product.
Although I started out as a classical musician and a graphic designer, my passion for programming and data gradually grew until today. I have been writing software since I was a teenager, and have spent the last several years co-founding and leading engineering teams, including running a Natural Language Processing company as CTO through to acquisition.
These days I lead AI/ML work in industry and mentor early-stage AI founders, and I am always glad to talk with people building thoughtful work in AI, software, or both.
